About me

Caitlin
The name is Caitlin, 18, engaged. Those are the simple stats. I am a manager at BK, that's right, finally passed the tests! My boss is amazing, and probably has the biggest heart of anyone I know. I am pregnant with a little boy, to be named Demetri Ray. Going to school for psychology, and adding some criminal classes in there in hopes to become a Criminal Psychiatrist, but even if that doesn't work out, a regular psychiatrist will work too. Right now my free time is limited, but I don't mind it too much. I have a few friends, mostly online, that are the reason I stay sane. They know who they are. I am trying to get through this pregnancy, have a healthy baby, and then better myself for him.

No more Self-Pity

Have you ever wondered if changing your life is even possible? That’s how I feel. I want to have a healthy baby, and I want to be a healthy mom. Is it possible?

Yes! so why won’t I do what it takes? I take prenatals, but that’s it. I need to care more about myself, my body, and my nutrition. WIC buys fruits and veggies, so why don’t I shut up and eat them?

Because I’m not motivated! I don’t work 40 hours a week anymore, more like 20, so why don’t I shut up and go on a walk some days? My friends go to a gym, I could easily tag along and hop on a treadmill. I can work out, I will know if I am working too hard for the peanut!

I can get on a normal sleep schedule. I can get my stuff done. I’m so sick of procrastinating. This has to change.

I am so upset with my…laziness it comes out in how I treat people, so this has to change..

It will change.

I will change.

She’s Ready To Be Back

The goal: have a healthy pregnancy, and post-baby lose the pregnancy weight as quickly as possible.

Action: After I hit the second trimester, start watching more what I eat (Now I eat what I can keep down),start walking and working out. Need to remember, being pregnant does not give me an excuse to be lazy!
